Card Creating Tuesday

Welcome to Card Creating Tuesday at Erica's Blog.  Today I have taken part in her challenge to use a sketch she provided as well as using the colors, pink, brown and red.   And here is what I came up with!

I met up with Erica over the weekend and I purchased this paper, as well as a ton of other items, :) from her!  I just love the little strawberries...but I can't remember the name offhand. But if interested, please let me know and I can look it up for you.

I used a premade card in bright pink, cut the long strip at 5.5 inches, and then used decorative scissors along the sides and added some ink.  The bottom piece was cut at 4.25 inches and then inked.  I cut the oval at 4 inches and the strawberry at 3.

I love embossing and I used it on the stem of the strawberry. But my new favorite is Liquid Pearls!! And I used it also to decorate the strawberry as well as to bling up some of the smaller strawberries too. Red stickles was used around the border of the oval. Put a Peachy Keen face and a K Andrews "smile" stamp and we are good to go.

Supplies used:

Michaels premade cards
Stickles - Christmas Red
Liquid Pearls - Silver Pearl
Martha Stewart Inks
Peachy Keen stamps - not sure what the collection is
Gettin Cricky stamps
Various other bling :)

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to go back to http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ to check out what other fabulous projects the team made.

Welcome to Ericas Craft Rooms 100 Cartridge Blog Hop. You should have come from Tammy.

Today I am showing a project very dear to my heart. My daughter was married back in August and this is an album I put together for her for Christmas.

The carts I used were Paper Trimmings, Storybook and Sophie. I love the Bo Bunny Enchanted Paper and various Paper Trimming and other brads, stickles and embeliishments I purchased and Michaels and Hobby Lobby.

There are lots of pictures, so I hope I don't overwhelm you. But The album turned out beautiful and she loved it. Enjoy!

Next on to Yvette to see the wonderful project she has made.

Friday Challenge

Welcome to our Friday's Challenge at Ericas Craft Room.  Today we were challenged to make something using Red Pink or Brown.  I chose Red with a little bit of Pink heart embellishments to make the following card.

Using a white premade card, I used a Martha Stewart punch (can't recall the name, sorry) and punched the bottom border. I then took some Tim Holtz distress ink, (black soot and spun sugar) and some Martha Stewart black ink for the edges.

I love the Bo Bunny Enchanted line of paper...you will see more of it this weekend. I used as the background on the bottom of the card and then again to surround my tag. Adding a bit of crinkled Ribbon,(homemade) cut the Heart at 3.5 inches from the Spring Fever Holiday Cart and added some bling I had left over from this weekends blog project.

I then took my Xyron Design Runner and added the Cherish.  I've not used this tool much and now that my craft room is semi-clean, I hope to start using some items I have purchased and not tried out. :)

So here is my card. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to stop back by this weekend for our Blog Hop. I think you'll like my project....see you Sat.
